Abstract: In recent years, agile project management has gained an increasingly important role in corporate operations, especially in areas where rapid adaptation, iterative development, and customer-focused thinking are required. While agile methodologies – such as Scrum or Kanban – originally emerged from the world of software development, today more and more traditional companies are seeking to integrate these approaches into their operations. However, the implementation involves numerous challenges: organizational culture, hierarchical decision-making, internal resistance, and improper role allocation can all hinder the success of agile operations. The aim of this study is to examine, from a corporate perspective, the opportunities and pitfalls of introducing agile project management. The theoretical research highlights that agility is not merely a methodology but also a shift in mindset, which requires changes at both the strategic and organizational level in order to achieve long-term success.
