Abstract: Artificial intelligence entered our everyday lives, therefore, as teachers, it is clear that we cannot ignore the use of AI in education. When used appropriately, AI can be a helpful tool and a valuable assistant in education, significantly changing and transforming existing teaching and learning methods. AI can therefore be a new, innovative, and effective tool in teaching mathematics, and the interaction between students and AI can effectively support the development of mathematical thinking. Our study examines the possibilities of using AI in mathematics education based on a literature review.
