Abstract: The orthocenter of a triangle is one of the oldest and most classical triangle centers. Its analogue for the tetrahedron, however, is far less straightforward. In this study, we collect and compare the different approaches proposed in the literature, relating them to their planar counterparts, and we also outline a new possible relation. The language of the presentation is intentionally light and didactical, designed to engage those less familiar with the topic and to serve as a motivational resource for students seeking to develop their spatial reasoning skills.
