Abstract:
THE USE OF ART THERAPY METHODS IN WORKING WITH PRESCHOOL CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS IN UKRAINE
Under martial law in Ukraine, ensuring the rights of individuals with special educational needs remains one of the priority areas of the state educational policy, particularly in preschool education.
The publication discloses statistical data on the number of inclusive groups of preschool education institutions and the number of pupils with special educational needs in Zakarpattia and generally in Ukraine. An analysis of innovative technologies in inclusive education of preschool children is carried out, particularly - art therapy - an educational technology of "treatment" through fine arts, namely drawing, graphics, painting, sculpture, music, etc., for the harmonious development of the child's personality. The functions that ensure the use of art therapy in working with children with special educational needs are characterized. The role of Transcarpathian Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education in training specialists to work with preschool learners with special educational needs is analyzed.
