Abstract:
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE STEAM CONCEPT IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Every child is born with an openness, curiosity and interest in the world around him or her, which the adult must recognize and develop through a specific approach. This approach should aim to encourage and support their interests and discoveries, thus stimulating further learning. The STEAM concept covers five areas: science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics. In institutions using the STEAM approach, all five areas are combined to create an effective strategy for acquiring a wide range of skills and knowledge. The aim of this study is to review the relevance of STEAM in early childhood education practice, with a particular focus on the personal conditions.

Keywords: STEAM, early childhood education, personal conditions
