Abstract: The basic goal of Environmental education is to form eco-friendly behavior among people for the sake of sustainable society and nature. One of the most important tasks of sustainability pedagogy is to develop a holistic way of thinking. Without the health of the nature-environment, we cannot talk about a healthy human life. The “Sustainable mental health workshop” was launched at the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year in the Teacher Training Faculty of Hungarian Language. The general aim of the workshop was to develop students' knowledge of sustainability and environmentally conscious behavior, as well as to connect social science and methodological content. The purpose of this study is to present the activities of the workshop, as well as to describe the results of the survey that assesses the sustainability-related conceptual systems of students participating in the workshop on the topic of sustainable development and holistic health awareness.
