Abstract: The continuous change in social and labor market expectations and needs of teachers requires a new pedagogical approach and the acquisition of new methods from all teachers. It is not easy, but it is the basic task of every teacher to continuously train and learn. In the context of professional development, the encouragement and support of the institution's management plays an important role, not only for the new teacher, but also during the professional development of the teacher who has been in the field for several years. As early as 2010, the issue of support in the continuous professional development of teachers was given special emphasis in EU policy. The purpose of this study is also to give an idea of the factors that enable or hinder the role of the kindergarten head as a supporter of kindergarten teachers during their professional development.
