Abstract: Our research was about the impact on knowledge structure of the special chemical lessons of the Astronomical Museum and Camera Obscura. This question is actual for us because we have started the revision of the lessons, but the results can be interesting for other mu-seums and experimental performers. Three groups of our participants, all of them were 7th graders, have filled out two tests with word associations: the first before the special lesson and the second one week later. The tests were evaluated with the Garskof-Houston formula. The most frequent associa-tions were also determined. We have found that our lessons might have caused some posi-tive effects on the knowledge structure of the students, mainly about the understanding of burning.
