Abstract: The study investigates the volume of foreign capital investments, which provides signifi-cant assistance to host countries, within the countries of the Visegrad Four over a ten-year period. In the theoretical part of our analysis, we examined the role of FDI as an economy-strengthening factor, as well as its characteristics specific to each Visegrad country. We considered important to examine the amount to which the FDI revenues in each country changed in relation to the percentage of GDP, and at the same time we il-lustrated the amount of foreign capital investment that each sector received. We present-ed our results in tabular form, during the research we relied on secondary sources, OECD data. Relative to GDP, the least amount of FDI flows into Slovakia, but in the case of Hungary, we discovered strong outliers in 2012 and 2015. The agriculture, fisheries and forestry sectors receive the least amount of FDI for all countries.
