Abstract: Nowadays, social media can be defined as one of the most significant virtual spaces, the importance of which is constantly increasing. As our world continues to evolve digitally, an online presence is becoming more and more essential for businesses, a key factor for successful operations in the 21st century. When businesses properly integrate social media into their corporate operations, there are many opportunities open to them. Although the number of online platforms is constantly increasing as time goes on, which challenges organizations, enabling the sharing of information about products and services, enabling two-way communication, and creating communities. However, in addition to its many advantages, social media also presents challenges to businesses. The aim of the study is to provide insight into the opportunities and challenges inherent in social media from the corporate side.
