Abstract: The Visegrad Group is the cooperation between four European countries, which are Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. These countries have similar religious, cultural values and share a common past. They had same aims, which were the accession to the NATO and to the European Union. These goals have been achieved at the beginning of the 21st century. This study analyses the labour market trends between 2009 and 2020 in V4, which are unemployment and employment rate. During this time, we can see the negative waves of two economic incidence, which were the financial crisis of 2008 and the crisis caused by the coronavirus. This study contains a forecast based on Eurostat data for the next 3 years until 2023, which shows us the development of the unemployment and employment rate with an upper and lower confidence bound. In the last part of the study labour market indicators in these four countries are compared with the European Union average and with the V4 average.
