Abstract: The study examines the contexts of creating an educational environment of pupils at elementary education. It points out the importance of creating an emotionally secure environment which has to originate from the effort to optimalize the pedagogical-organizational conditions and has to accept the principles of a developing school model in favour of the best possible adaptation of the pupils. The goal of the article is to introduce the principles of optimalistion of the educational environment in the first year of the elementary school in the optics of adaptation and present some of the possible solutions.
