Abstract: The development of a global knowledge-based society and the rapid integration of ICT are essential for acquiring the digital skills needed for employment and everyday life. In addition, along with changes in the labour market, 21st-century skills such as information retrieval and evaluation, problem-solving, information exchange, developing ideas in a digital environment, or creativity and emotional intelligence are seen as essential. Much of the research examines digital skills and so-called soft skills such as emotional intelligence separately. The present study seeks to exploit and cover this gap. For this reason, the study seeks to explore the relationship between emotional intelligence and digital abilities. The research found a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and digital intelligence; however, we found a significant difference in terms of gender only in terms of digital intelligence.
