Abstract: The environmental problems of our time have now become apparent. The complexity of the problem requires coordinated cooperation. With my short study, I tried to present the problem specifically from the field of education, thus keeping this extremely important topic afloat. However, due to the complexity of the problem, I must also address the responsibilities of companies. The attitude towards social responsibility of a company on a long term can be interpreted as a strategic investment, an investment in the future. Sustainable pedagogy is more than environmental education in a way that the relationship of human and their environment is not narrowed down to the transformation of the emotional relationship with the natural environment but treats it as a subtask in the system of economics, politics, technical opportunities, law, equality, prosperity, social cooperation, job security, lifelong learning, eradicating illiteracy, and the global issues of schooling.
