Abstract: The paper presents the results of a survey focused on the views of high school students and teachers on peer mediation. The survey was conducted using a questionnaire method on a sample of 296 pupils and 64 teachers. The survey showed that peer mediation is not extended to our schools, but students and teachers are inclined to mediation. Possible benefits can be seen in improving behavior and student relations, conflict resolution, less in bullying. The most potent of peer mediation is the solution to quarrels, defamation, and insult. Students also expect effect of mediation in solving problems later, outside school. The results of the students' survey are compared with the findings of the survey conducted on the sample of secondary school teachers.
