Abstract: In our study, we examine the strategic dimensions of the mutual influence of Reformed public education and Reformed teacher training. Following a brief description of the Reformed education subsystem, we attempt to review the challenges facing the Reformed education subsystem primarily through the lens of higher education and then formulate possible breakthrough points that could provide solutions to today's challenges in educational theory and organisation, with particular regard to the possibilities of Reformed teacher training in this process. This assessment is particularly relevant given that the Reformed Church in Hungary is currently developing the "RefHáló" public education and vocational training network development strategy, which seeks systemic responses and formulates action plans for the sustainability and development of Reformed education.
