Abstract: Research was attempted with the students in the Faculty of Pedagogy of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary to map the concepts of family-like atmosphere and supportive community in university life. Building upon the Faculty's historic tradition - where strong emphasis is put on community life, moral education, and close teacher-student relationships - the study examined how such ideas live in today's student life. While students may not always even directly seek out these values when choosing a university, they deeply appreciate their existence in their everyday academic lives. This confirms that the Faculty of Pedagogy's role as community organizer - rooted in tradition and pedagogic heritage - is more than ever highly applicable today and makes a valuable contribution to the well-being and success of a student.
