Abstract: In the context of the global ecological crisis, the pedagogical and cultural dimensions of sustainability have gained increasing importance. Within visual arts education, eco art artistic practice grounded in ecological awareness provides a creative and receptive space where environmental sensitivity can be cultivated in experiential and reflective ways. This paper explores how art pedagogy, by visual narratives, can raise awarene ss of environmental issues and foster the development of attitudes and competences related to sustainability. The pedagogical application of eco art allows students to interpret and communicate their relationship with the natural environment through visual expression, while simultaneously engaging with notions of responsibility, community action, and interdisciplinary thinking. Consequently, visual education not only enriches learners through aesthetic experience but also contributes to the strengthening of critical and ecological awareness, thus supporting the development of future oriented pedagogical strategies for sustainability.
