Abstract: This study examines how kindergarten teachers view the situation and inclusion of children with autism in kindergarten, how they are able to achieve this, what difficulties they encounter, and how they overcome these difficulties within the kindergarten setting. For this study, we conducted a secondary analysis of a national online questionnaire survey (N=91) conducted among kindergarten teachers in 2024, focusing on the open-ended questions in the questionnaire. After coding the responses, although the sample is not representative, it is clear that the development of an inclusive learning environment is lacking in several dimensions in these institutions.
