Abstract: The inclusion of children with disabilities in mainstream classrooms remains a topical issue. The mindset and attitude of teachers play a fundamental role in the educational process of students, especially in the case of students with disabilities. The aim of this study was to adapt such an assessment tool to the Hungarian culture in Slovakia. For this purpose, we selected The Sentiments, Attitudes, Concerns Revised (SACIE-R), an assessment tool developed by Forlin, Earle, Loreman, and Sharma (2011). After a brief overview of SACIE-R, the adapted Hungarian version is presented. 43 students participated in the study. The reliability indicators of the subfactors are: emotions = 0.65; attitudes = 0.81; concerns = 0.65. The study examined participants' attitudes toward the inclusion of students with disabilities as a function of their level of education and sought to determine whether there was a correlation between concerns about disability and prior experience with people with disabilities.
