Abstract: Our thinking is both verbal and pictorial; narrative and visual. There is a continuous transition between these in all areas of culture, including fashion. In the relationship between body and clothing, fashion is the possibility of constant reinterpretation - the surface of changes in the person and the world. The body, the corporeality of man, is the source of our metaphorical thinking. The human body (and thus the dressed human body) is a visual phenomenon, its communication is metaphor communication, that is, a visual image conveyed by linguistic communication. Metaphor connects images through concrete images and metaphors in the world of fashion as well.
Keywords: Fashion, metaphor, communication
