Abstract: Tourism services in the Danube region face increasing expectations for quality, driven by changing consumer behaviour and demographic shifts. As locals and visitors alike contribute to regional tourism, understanding their satisfaction and complaint-handling preferences is crucial. This study applies a quantitative approach through an online bilingual questionnaire (N=255) to explore generational patterns in satisfaction, revisit intention, and feedback behaviour. Key findings reveal significant generational differences in return likelihood after complaint resolution, with Baby Boomers less likely to return compared to younger cohorts. Positive experience feedback also shows age-based channel preferences, while negative experience feedback patterns remain uniform. These insights support service design tailored to generational needs and strengthen destination resilience.
