Abstract: The study investigates the integration of Kamishibai, or paper theater, into religious education for preschool children, emphasizing its potential as a creative pedagogical tool. It examines the operational structure of the paper theater and its advantages over traditional teaching methods, with particular attention to fostering engagement and creativity among preschoolers. Furthermore, it discusses the role of storytelling in education, the incorporation of interactive elements into religious lessons, and strategies aimed at encouraging active participation from children. Examples of Kamishibai stories related to religious teachings are provided. By analyzing the practical experiences of religious educators and feedback from children, the study evaluates the impact of Kamishibai on learning outcomes.
