Abstract: The current growth rate of urban growth is unprecedented. The rapid pace of urbanisation brings with it huge challenges, including rising slum populations, increasing air pollution, inadequate basic services and infrastructure, and unplanned urban sprawl, which make cities even more vulnerable to disasters. But with good urban design and management, the world's urban spaces can become inclusive, safe and sustainable, and dynamic hubs for innovation and enterprise. Thus, urban processes are dynamic, complex and interdependent phenomena that shape the development, growth, transformation and daily functioning of cities. Urban processes involve social, economic, environmental, political and cultural factors, all of which contribute to the shaping of urban life. Depending on its size, urban society is a major factor of competitiveness in territorial economic and educational processes, all of which interact and constantly shape the innovativeness of urban thinking.
