Abstract:
ADDITIONS TO THE HISTORY OF FREE CHURCHES IN THE TIME OF THE HOLOCAUST
The purpose of this article is to explore the role of the denominations represented by the Association of Free Churches of Hungary during the period of World War II, with a particular focus on the question of their involvement in the life of society and the potential responsibility that can be attributed to them during the emergency period. While the roles of church institutions and leaders in the analysis of the Ho-locaust have been examined by the defining professional publications, smaller denominations have only been marginally affected by these domestic researches, and it is this gap that I aim to fill.

Keywords: Free church, Holocaust, baptist, methodist
