Abstract: Education for creativity and, in this context, the development of the ability to learn, are nowadays high on the list of general education objectives. Preparing student teachers for an ever-changing future naturally affects teacher education as well. The primary aim of this paper is to highlight the potential of creativity education in the context of community art projects, to highlight the specificities of some initiatives in the international visual arts scene in the context of creativity. At the same time, we will present a community art pro-ject implemented within the framework of Hungarian teacher training in Slovakia and discuss the theoretical considerations that determine its content.
