Abstract: Over the past year, technological advancements have significantly impacted how young children interact with their surroundings. Nowadays, kids are spending more time online than ever before. This can be attributed to several factors, including the widespread avail-ability of smartphones, tablets, and internet-connected devices and the integration of digi-tal tools into our daily routines, such as education and entertainment. During the summer months, many children spend even more time online while their parents are at work, mak-ing it difficult for them to monitor their online activities. Unfortunately, the potential dan-gers of online activity are often not discussed with children, leaving them vulnerable to various risks. In this article, I will examine children's cybersecurity risks during summer break or while traveling and provide practical solutions to mitigate each.
