Abstract: In the paper, the author provides an overview of the frequency distribution of the content models of living (unofficial) personal names of women of the Slovak population in the Hungarian villages of Sára and Vanyarc. Models are system-forming units of the onymic system. Sára is part of the town of Dabas in the Pestian County, Vanyarc is located in southern Novohrad. In the investigated localities, living names function alongside the of-ficial system and partially independently of it. In Sára, there is less dependence from the official system, family names that do not come from the anthropobase of the official sur-name have a high frequency. In Vanyarc, if the living name also contains the anthropo-base of the surname, the member given (first) name is often in the domestic (hypocoristic) form; there are also common surnames with kinship motivation according to the father. Living (unofficial) personal names in a bilingual Slovak-Hungarian environment repre-sent the intersection of Slovak and Hungarian official and unofficial (living) anthropony-mic systems and the intermingling of Slovak and Hungarian linguistic elements.
