Abstract: Although we see from the Bible that the message of the Lord's Supper is very diverse, the traditional Protestant liturgy does not give us the opportunity to experience this diversity. How can the celebration of the Lord's Supper be renewed so that the content is not lost? In our paper - in connection with the publication of the new Hungarian Reformed Hymnal Book - we place special emphasis on the investigation of the musical background of the Lord's Supper, too and also look for the possible ways of some kind of renewal.
