Abstract: The revolution of information technology and changes in learning habits have posed a major challenge for educators and educational institutions. This revolution brought not only problems but also a range of solutions. We can adopt sophisticated motivational elements from the gaming industry for success. In our writing, we try to show how the changed teaching-learning culture and the new curriculum in-fluenced the structure of mathematics training and teaching methods in teacher training in Győr. In the present work, we aimed to present gamification, which is a new method in higher education. With this method, our goal is to increase the motivation of students during education, to change their attitude in a positive direction. Based on the experience gained from the previous year's trial version, we re-apply the gamification method, and in this paper we explain the conditions of implementation.
