Abstract: The presented paper is divided into a theoretical part, which defines the basic terminological concepts associated with the creation of teaching aids in direct relation to modern teaching aids, which can be used in the educational process and during the distance form of education. The following section defines the main goal of the paper, which is the creation of a modern teaching aid, which can be used not only during the full-time form of study, but also in connection with the current pandemic situation during the distance form of study and on-line education. The actual part consists of a proposal of the procedure before the creation of the teaching aid in the form of videos. In this part are also proposed the specified expenses, which includes the creation of the teaching aid in the form of videos. One part of the paper is the analysis of economic educational videos in Slovak and English and the creation of a scenario for a video on the topic of inflation. An educational video on the topic of inflation was fil-med, processed and rated in the form of a questionnaire survey by teachers of secondary economic schools in Slovakia. The main goal of the presented paper was fulfilled and a teaching aid was created. This video is also modern and innovative teaching aid with regard to the results of the questionnaire survey.
