Abstract: In my short dissertation, I made an attempt to examine the topic of digital inequalities in conceptual and historical terms, especially its Hungarian aspects. It is quite clear that the pandemic has brought the issue of inequalities to the forefront, especially in the area of digital tools, digital literacy. I wanted to draw attention to the fact that individual access, individual abilities and opportunities have become paramount. I presented the situation in Hungary from some points of view. In my view, a significant change of attitude is needed in order to create digital equality. Tools, after Internet access, need to pay more and more attention to human factors.
