Abstract: In the context of experiential education, modern textbooks increasingly aim to make the experiences pedagogically usable through reflection and transfer in foreign language lessons. The study illustrates which tasks and in which way can contribute to putting the experience beyond the promotion of lin-guistic competence in the service of the personal development and the sense of responsibility of the learner.
