Abstract: The aim of our work is the impact of artificial intelligence on the Slovak economy. The aim of the research is to explore the effects of artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0, ie the 4th Industrial Revolution, on Slovakia. The emergence of new technologies has many benefits for the economy and also raises concerns. Automation, robotics and artificial intelligence are transforming the labor market, and it is essential that Slovakia and the EU adapt to this change. By artificial intelligence we mean machine learning, which is able to learn independently or increase its own performance under the influence of various impulses. These processes can have variable economic effects, such as accelerating productivity but endangering the human workforce. Our goal is to gain as much insight as possible into these processes. However, during Industrial Revolution 4.0, we are trying to define the concept itself and provide a kind of insight.
