Abstract: The main objective of this paper is to identify the learning styles of economics students at the J. Selye University in Komárno. If teachers know the students’ learning styles the teaching process can be more efficient and effective, as students can learn more easily and quickly if they can learn in the style that suits them best – whether in the classroom or at home. The research was carried out between December 2019 and February 2020. A total of 375 economics students filled in the printed and online version of the questionnaire, which contained three demographic questions and the Learning Styles Questionnaire of Imre Szitó. Szitó’s questionnaire contained 34 statements measured on Likert scale. In the hypothesis analysis, we examined whether there is a relationship between learning styles. The results of research can be useful for the general publi, higher education institutions, economics teachers and students.
