Abstract: In this study is introduced oneself the All-Day Education Research Team of the Faculty Primary and Pre-School Education of the Eötvös Loránd University. The research team is focused on all-day education and it examined the processes and methodologies in afternoonschool day-care and learning. This work is presented the results of a two years long qualitative research using 318 students' narratives. Our empirical study is searched the effectiveness of changes in practical training based on students' thoughts. We analysed 234 reflective diaries, 36 focus-group interview and 48 written questioning were made about the practical training of teacher candidate in the ELTE Gyertyánffy István Practicing Primary School. The aim is to find the optimum way to support student teachers for their professional career and save them against drop-out. The study is showed that paying attention to students' voice is very useful if we want to make teacher training more effective.
