Abstract: The Reformed Pedagogical Institute (RPI) as a pedagogical professional service provides professional help for the all Reformed maintained kindergarden and school of Hungary. One of the most important fields of activity is the pedagogical measurement and evaluation. Besides the measuring and evaluating tasks among the Reformed institutes the RPI also supports the schools to interpretate and evaluate the results of national measurements. The RPI annually prepares a summary of the Reformed institutes' data and results of the National Competence Measurement(NCM) and helps the schools compare their own results to the national and the other Reformed schools' results. Draws attention to the importance of the students' Family Background Index (FBI), because just the view of FBI can the added pedagogical value be measured, which is an important indicator of schools.
