Abstract: The diverse, adequate and culturally relevant mastery of foreign languages is the prerequisite for orientation and coping in our globalized world. The study addresses the question of how the inner motivation of both learners and teachers can be encouraged most optimally and strategically, effectively, especially with regard to higher education.
